Savoir Faire Vintage Market July 11 2016, 0 Comments

This week on my summer shopping with Tammy series I investigated the Savoir Faire vintage market at Cal State Fullerton.  It was a perfect cloudy morning to go flea shopping and by the time I arrived, at 8am, the market was in full swing.  There were rows and rows of vendors selling their wares underneath pop up tents. It was a good mix of vintage and painted furniture, vintage and antique jewelry, old records, tools, linens, clothes, dishes and lots of vintage knick knacks and collectibles.  I went the sunday before Fourth of July and the vendors said that only half the vendors participated because of the holiday weekend.  The August market they will all be back with truck loads of found items. The word "savoir-faire" is a french word meaning "literally, knowing how to do", which pretty much sums up the market!  It is held the first Sunday of each month, in lot E of the campus, 2550 Nutwood Ave, Fullerton 92831.  www.savoirfairevintagemarket.com
